20140504-091048.jpgThis is the third week of Oprah and Deepak Chopra’s Finding Your Flow Meditation Experience. Week three focuses on transformation, from opening and activating the seven chakras, to allow for more joy, love, possibilities, and fulfillment in our lives.

So far, we have experienced the following meditations (earlier posts below):
Day 14: Activating Consciousness (Om Katyayani Namaha)
Day 15: Expressing Security (Om Bhu)
Day 16: Expressing Happiness (Om Bhuvaha)
Day 17: Expressing Power (Om Swaha)
Day 18: Expressing You (Om Maha)
Day 19: Expressing You (Om Janaha)
Day 20: Expressing Wisdom (Om Tapaha)

From today’s message:
“Our seventh chakra is our divine light. It is where we take in that universal light of consciousness, and it is also where we radiate that same light to all creation. Our meditation will help spread the light of our inner awakening to every being in the universe, gently calling them to awaken as well.”

Today is the last day of the Finding Your Flow journey. I am truly grateful for all 21 days of meditation, especially because it helped me through the beginning of a very hard project for me in surrendering, letting go, and trusting the flow.

We experiencing a lot more awakening to spirituality. Many people are finding how divine they truly are, not only from their own personal journey, but also because there are more and more inspiration out there to be closer to God, Goddess, Higher Power, Pure Awareness, Source, however you call it, or however you believe. There is a huge spiritual expansion, and a call to be a part of it.

To receive from the Light that is in us, and to be able to give that same divine Light is truly a gift. It is a gift of sharing, forgiving, healing, joy, and loving, in the most highest possible way. I am honored to be a part of that.

I wanted to share a beautiful saying by the Chandogya Upanishad that Deepak quotes about Light. “There is a Light that shines beyond all things on Earth, beyond us all, beyond the highest heavens. This is the Light that shines within us.”

Let the Light shine, ever so brightly!

Today’s centering thought is “I radiate light.”

Today’s Sanskrit mantra is Om Satyam, which means “I express my pure awareness into the world.”

“To share our wisdom and truth with others, we don’t need a large audience or a scholarly mind. We only need wisdom and truth alive in our consciousness along with a willingness to be of service to others in need… True wisdom is seeing what needs to be done and then acting on your inner knowing.” (Excerpt from the meditation’s message of the day)

Today’s meditation is about sharing our truth.

Oprah said it really well that “the more closely we connect to the Source, Capital S, of every truth, the more wondrous and full our life experience will be.” I feel and know this for myself.

Deepak shared two beautiful messages I want to share. The first is by Rumi. “There is a community of the spirit. Join it, and feel the delight of walking in the noisy street
and being the noise.” The second is “when we say “Namaste,” we honor the truth in another. More important though is to respect everyone’s essence, which lies beyond the surface of appearances. Be your own inspiration, there’s no better way to inspire everyone around you.”

The truth is what motivates you from deep inside and it is the authenticity that helps set you free. The truth is your true nature (your true self), that helps you share yourself to the world. It is the true self that help you live with joy, love, happiness, inspiration, and fulfillment.

Namaste!

Today’s centering thought is “I radiate truth.”

Today’s Sanskrit mantra is Om Tapaha, which means “I express my truth into the world.”

Today’s meditation is about sharing our authentic selves to the world. As we celebrate our own uniqueness, we can inspire others to also share their real selves to the world.

Each of us have a different song we want to sing, and that makes each of us so special. There will never be another (state your name) here, in this world. Knowing that, wouldn’t it be nice to share your song?

Today’s centering thought is “I radiate my unique expression.”

Today’s Sanskrit mantra is Om Janaha, which means “I express my uniqueness into the world.”

“The greatest gift we have to offer the world is our love. We deliver this offering when we make time each day to align with and express the infinite source of love within.”

I love today’s meditation. Unconditional love is a true gift to give and to receive. In this meditation, we are reminded that we are unconditional love, and we come from it. It is not something that is so far out of reach. It’s there, always.

It is just a matter of accessing it and working with it daily, each moment, and eventually we can live it and share it.

Think of someone you love dearly. Feel what that love is like. Now imagine sharing that with everyone in this world for a moment. You’ve just given and radiated love.

Today’s centering thought is “I radiate love from my true self.”

Today’s Sanskrit mantra is Om Maha, which means “I express my love into the world.”

Having found and activated our personal power, by radiating it, by expressing it… we can not only help ourselves through difficulties, but we can share support and give strength and compassion to others who need them the most, and become a source of inspiration and hope.

“Spiritual power is the flow of universal power focused through us to support and benefit others.”

Oprah mentions that by surrendering to the flow and trusting that which is greater than ourselves, we “radiate a vortex of strength and power.”

Deepak adds that by expressing power through the solar plexus chakra, we gain access to a “core of support that knits together mental, emotional and spiritual strength.” These three kinds of strengths are what we need in order to overcome obstacles, reach our goals in life, and share our strength with others.

I’m in the process of surrender, of trusting in a higher power, and just letting go. It has not been easy at all, but I am flowing, and doing my best.

I am sure that trusting in the belief that I will be okay, no matter what happens, is helping. That was something I learned, through many obstacles, first hand, but grateful for.

But surrendering and letting go doesn’t happen automatically for me. I still resist and still want to take control. There isn’t a day that go by when I have to stop and remind myself why I am surrendering and letting go at least once a day, but I also know that I am more at peace when I do.

Surrendering isn’t about giving up control of your life. To me, it’s about giving up control of the part of me that can self-sabotage all the self-work I have been doing and giving in to the ego’s wants, fears, and doubts that get in the way of my happiness. My life is a whole lot easier when I swim with the flow than against it.

Today’s centering thought is “I radiate strength and support.”

Today’s Sanskrit mantra is Om Swaha, which means “I express my confidence into the world.”

Today is so busy since rushing out of the house to go to work to coming home after dinner and light shopping, but I am happy that however late it is, that I can have a moment to sit still and go within.

I love this week’s meditations because it is about letting our higher selves come forth. Imagine what this world would be like if we say, do, act, and feel through our higher selves!

Today’s meditation focuses on security and peace. Before we can help others feel secure and at peace, we must be secure within. As we grow more secure and peaceful inside of us, the more we can extend these feelings to others through the expression of our authentic selves.

Today’s centering thought is “I radiate complete peace and security.”

Today’s Sanskrit mantra is Om Bhu, which means “I express my stability into the world.”

20140411-011701.jpgI really enjoy meditations that Oprah and Deepak Chopra collaborate on. It was through their previous meditations that I felt I was ready enough for Deepak. LOL. For the longest time, I was overwhelmed.

The previous meditations were simple, concise, and easy, so I believe this will be the same. Since I am working on “going with the flow” in my life, this would be a great 21-day journey for me.

I am grateful for Oprah and Deepak’s Finding Your Flow 21-day Meditation Experience. It came at a good time to help take my learning and awareness to the next level. (When the student is ready, the teacher comes…)
