Yay! It’s here! My renewed passport is here! Time for new adventures!

imageI requested extra pages, so hopefully I will be able to fill it up!

I was chatting with one of my cousins regarding one of my issues. There are some guys that I don’t feel comfortable with–whether at work and outside of it.

Usually, I can tolerate a lot (and I mean A LOT) until I feel like I have to take some measures.

As I was explaining my situation, my cousin said that the problem was that I am too nice.

She had experienced the same thing, and that my being nice could sometimes be an encouragement to others.

Since I usually smile, divert, and just remove myself from the situation quickly when I feel uncomfortable… that by not saying anything about what’s making me uncomfortable… I was actually perpetuating my situation.

I think that this is another tough lesson for me to learn from, and is an important part of self-care and standing up for myself.

imageSomething cute happened today! It was something that brought a smile to many faces.

I was going to throw a smal cup into a Minion trash can, but a young toddler, following his dad, was about to pass in front of me, pushing a kid’s shopping cart. However, he got distracted by the Minion, stopped, and gave the Minion a hug! Aw!

His dad, however, was aghast and exclaimed, “That’s a trash can!” LOL!

Wasn’t that adorable? 😁

imageI am grateful that I can turn to Super Soul Sunday — a place where I can get my Spiritual fix.

I learn something new each time I watch an episode — always pertinent to what I am facing to get validations and receive important reminders.  It is a go-to for me as I walk my Spiritual path.

imageAs I was driving today, I noticed that my car was nearing a particular number… So when it neared “77777,” I exited the freeway so I could take this picture at 11:17 a.m. (Please excuse the dust! 😜)

I am grateful for my car!

I was waiting to see my Specialist and found this article on how to live without regrets from “More” magazine.

It is again a good reminder on how to live a life without regrets. In the article’s case, to release a long-held regret, the writer had to fulfill a promise she wasn’t able to complete many years before. In doing so, she was able to let go of the guilt and sadness she felt for that broken promise.

I believe that we each have some regrets in life. Some are easier to mend, some may not be… Some may even require some changes in ourselves or our situation… Whatever it is, may each of us find a way to let go of regrets that keep us from living life happily and fully.

imageToday is Mercedita Day! I scheduled today as a floating holiday to celebrate my birthday so… Yay, for Mercedita Day! HaHa!

Mercedita Day is a day to celebrate joy and yummy food! So after sleeping in, I made Oden (Japanese fish cake soup). It is also Chinese tradition to eat noodles on one’s birthday for long life, so I added bundled Konnyaku (yam noodles) in my soup.

Today, I pray for peace and healing for all!

For lunch, I went into an Asian Market to pick up some lunch. The cashier told me to go back and put more food in my box. She wanted to ensure I got my $9’s worth. LOL! Gotta love that!

(for 2/10/15)

It was drizzling as I came into work this morning… A left over from a storm we just had. By break time though… It was beautiful!

The sun was shining with white, fluffy clouds on such a blue sky! It was amazing!

I feel cheated because Winter is my favorite and we never truly had one here in California, but the sun’s warmth was welcome and it felt really good. It was really something to appreciate and be grateful for.
