“Atidecrem” is my name backwards, and I have been feeling like I have been living my life backwards. One day, I realized that I was missing something huge in my life. My life.
Somehow over the years, I got stuck in a rut, but this is my way of finally breaking free. Free to live my life as fully as I can… Do the things I have always wanted to do… Visit the places I have always wanted to explore…
It is now time to put “Atidecrem” back on track, and this is the story of how Mercedita got her life back.
Best of luck in your journey.

Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine yourself at your very best and happiest. Smile, and then imagine that you are putting your very best and happiest in your heart.
From now on your very best and happiest will always be in your heart. Whenever you are feeling not so positive, look down at your heart, and see your very best and happiest looking up at you! 💐

So nice to find someone else doing daily gratitude posts…I’ve been exploring other sections on your menu and finding most are empty…have you just begun and are holding spaces for categories or are these areas protected privately? Would love to see your “bucket list” and curious about how you identify your “authentic self”.

Hi! They are place holders as I am gearing up. I didn’t get a chance to update my bucket list last weekend, but will be putting it up soon. My authentic self is me at my core, with my flaws and my best parts out there. I will continue to work on being a better person–to be more like my Higher Self which while hard is doable, but a lifelong process. At the simplest, I want to live a compassionate, kind, positive, and meaningful life.

I can really relate to the categories you are preparing. Looking forward to entries in each. Your higher self aspirations are much the same as i would express for myself… curious and mindful are the only other attributes that immediately come to mind. I look forward to following your entries here! So glad you dropped by my blog and enticed me here.

Thank you for sharing your medical mission post. What I have found is how happiness isn’t really gauged by money or success. I have seen this first hand in countries considered Third World. I think I already knew how gratefulness played a huge role, before I heard of David Steindl-Rast and he spoke of it. Then I was able to understand a lot more.
The journey to the authentic me hasn’t always been easy. I’m still a work in progress, but I am seeing the beauty and miracles of what we all are. We are truly blessed.
Thank you for stopping by. 🙂

I recall a vision quest experience – maybe it was just about 25 years ago – – my spirit was on backwards — and protruding down through the floor… just strange what we manage to do and still function.

Thank you so much! It’s been a very interesting journey with a lot of growing, a lot of breaking barriers, and a whole lot of facing fears. It’s been both hard and amazing at the same time. Wouldn’t change a thing.

I relate so much to this as I am beginning my own ‘walk to redefining myself’.
In the beginning, the hardest thing for me was to just sit still and acknowledge where I’d allowed myself to substitute ‘safe routine’ for ‘soul satisfaction’.
Talk about breaking through and breaking down!
But all the inner turmoil has bought me to a place where I’m willing (and able) to face my fears, embrace my creativity and OWN IT!
Like you, I wouldn’t change a thing….

I still have a hard time just sitting still, but I am brave enough to face my demons. 😁 I think we all come to a place where we want something more than meets the eye, something we can’t touch but is so deep… to the very core of our soul. Then we feel this something so much better than before and we crave it to be always with us… Then we find out, it was always there with us all along.

So true, so absolutely true!
To find that what you were seeking was YOURSELF, the parts that were buried or inactive for whatever reasons….
For me, a big lesson seems to be to accept this as part of the ‘contract’ for being here on Earth!
I feel the more I uncover this glowing, vibrant, courageously alive ‘me’, the less I want to ever go back to a time when I wasn’t feeling it come to life…
scary? yeah, sort of. absolutely necessary? affirmative!

We chose to come back 😊 with a soul contract we ourselves designed. We are divine having a human experience. I am learning to ask at each opportunity for learning, “what lesson am I to learn from this?”

Yes! That is the way to go forward, by asking this question above all others! And yes, that ‘ soul contract’ you mention is of our own design! You know…
