Today’s quote is from Bryant McGill. “The greatest joys in life are found not only in what we do and feel, but also in our quiet hopes and labors for others.”
Today’s centering thought is hope lights my path.
Today’s Sanskrit mantra is Shreem, which means “I am all possibilities.”
From today’s message:
“Hope is a key spiritual component of our joyful self. Spiritual hope is not a feeble, anxious wish for things to be better…it is the active engagement of our aspiration to the almighty force of evolution. True hope ties our individuality to the cosmos, giving us the guidance and support to move toward out hopes and dreams. This expansion and fulfillment of our aspirations is an essential joy of life.
We feel happy when our love grows and our territory of influence expands, and hope is the leading edge of this expansion.”
The sixth day of Oprah and Deepak Chopra’s Expanding Your Happiness Meditation Experience is about hope.
Oprah said, “your truest self doesn’t wait for hope, or hope for hope. Your essential self emanates hope–rooted in the all powerful certainty of Source… If dreams reflect the past, hope summons the future. Access that certainty and hope, and the happiness that flows to you will be more powerful than you can imagine. It is a force that grounds you and lifts you up, all at once.
As mentioned in another post, I feel like I am at a crossroad. I feel like my life is gearing up for some major changes, but I am not sure the “what,” the “when,” and the “how” yet. This is making me feel anxious.
Yet, the only thing that is helping me is my hope in the knowledge that “all will be well.” That’s why I am only anxious, but not afraid. It took a long time to stop gaining new fears. That I am just anxious is a big leap. I guess I need to work on the anxiousness part. HaHa! 😁
Deepak said that “happy people are optimistic and hopeful. Hope is a positive force in their lives which is different from feeling anxious and hoping that everything will turn out all right. When your sense of hope flows from The Source, you know that new possibilities will emerge and that good outcomes are in sight.”
I hope for good outcomes, whatever they are. I will focus on the now, and trust that everything will work for my best and highest good.

I too am at a crossroads that I just didn’t want to cross. The bound up energy caused an old slipped disc to be re-injured (making me “immobile” to reflect my consciousness). As soon as I realized why it happened it healed within days. Last time it took 5 years to heal. My answer at the crossroads was this – “Fear believed in a negative Future, where Faith believed in a Positive Future”. Like EVERY crossroad before, I’ve always learned and come out for the better – so I changed from fear to Positivity for the other side of crossroads. Hope these words help, remember YOU ARE ALL Possibilities! enjoy the path….

Hi Mike! Thank you for sharing! They are helpful. I had my wakeup call with a herniated disc myself and once I decided to overhaul body, mind, and spirit–I felt like I was back on track and Spiritually, I had shift, after shift, after shift… And I think I am going to have another one. I don’t feel afraid anymore, but I do still have moments of anxiousness and that’s from post conditioning I am still breaking down. I do have hope and faith that matter where the changes take me, I will be okay. That God has my back. 😁 Thank you again. Your words empower and uplift me!
