Today’s quote is from Mother Theresa. “A joyful heart is the normal result of a heart burning with love.”

Today’s centering thought is I am love.

Today’s Sanskrit mantra is Aham Prema, which means “I am love.”

From today’s message:
Today’s meditation will show you that love is our joyful spiritual center. We don’t need to go anywhere to find love. This is love that never fades. We never lose this love because it comes from inside. We are our own source of joyful love. If we look for love around us, we are assuming we lack love, and that we can find it in another person. But, love is our nature; it is who we are, and it is as near as our beating heart. Our meditation today will help us reorient our feeling of love to our spiritual core so that we no longer look for love, but bring a full loving heart wherever we go

The fourth day of Oprah and Deepak Chopra’s Expanding Your Happiness Meditation Experience is on finding the love within.

The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz, is one of my most favorite books. In it, Don Miguel Ruiz wrote that “people are starving for love, not knowing their heart is a magical kitchen. Open your heart. Open your magical kitchen and refuse to walk around the world begging for love. In your heart is all the love you need. Your heart can create any amount of love, not just for yourself, but for the whole world.”

I am on the road to making my heart a magical kitchen. I have been working on opening my heart so that I could receive and give love freely. Forgiveness has played a deep role in remembering what love is.

We are made of love, but as we grew older, we have forgotten it. As we related to others, we got hurt and became scared of loving someone else. However, if we can go back to who we truly are, then we won’t be scared anymore.

What an ultimate gift it would be to find our way back to love. To be able to live one’s life knowing that you have enough and that you overflow of love–that you can’t but help share it.. AND to not be afraid to give it or expect anything in return.

In Lily Dale, I met some people who radiated love. It was so uplifting to be around them. I want to be like them, so that I could enhance other people’s lives simply by just being around them!

I hope one day, I could finally work through the rest of the things and fears that are keeping me from having this magical kitchen. I think that day, I will be truly blessed.
