Today’s quote is from Emily Dickinson. “Find ecstasy in life; the mere sense of living is joy enough.”
Today’s centering thought is I am filled with spirit.
Today’s Sanskrit mantra is Shum, which means “I am inspired.”
From today’s message:
“Today in meditation, we connect with our inner being, the source of all inspiration, creativity, insight and joy. In opening our hearts and minds to pure spirit, we allow ourselves to take it in to recreate and to renew ourselves. Inspiration is not only for artists and visionaries, we all benefit when our lives are refreshed and revitalized with spirit every day.
Meditation opens us to infinite possibilities and allows us to remake ourselves anew each time we sit in silence. To feel inspired is to step into the present experience unfettered by past disappointments and future fears. You are free to participate in the creative joy of life in the moment.”
Today is the second day of Oprah and Deepak Chopra’s Expanding Your Happiness Meditation Experience.
I first heard of being “in-spirit” from Dr. wayne Dyer who wrote, “when you are inspired by a great purpose, everything will begin to work for you. Inspiration comes from moving back in-spirit and connecting to the seven faces of intention. When you feel inspired, what appeared to be risky becomes a path you feel compelled to follow. The risks are gone because you are following your bliss, which is the truth within you. This is really love working in harmony with your intention.”
I think that the path I have taken from working on opening myself and my heart and taking the steps toward my spirituality have opened me up to many possibilities.
My journey included various meditation journeys offered by Oprah & Deepak and the Mentors Channel (Gratitude, Spirit of Mantra, and Osho’s Course in Meditation), as well as wisdom derived from books from Don Miguel Ruiz, Gabrielle Bernstein, Louise Hay, Dr. Wayne Dyer–to name a few, Hay House Summit, and many more.
This opening, and allowing on my part, has led me to Alaska where I felt such quick and deep connection to Spirit. Then to Lily Dale, where I felt serene, safe, and loved.
I feel like I am now at this point of Dr. Dyer’s word… “When you feel inspired, what appeared to be risky becomes a path you feel compelled to follow.”
I am in front of many open doors right now. I am “inspired,” but I don’t know which path to follow or where my path will take me. I am both anxious and excited at the same time.
All I know is that even if I do not know where I am going, I know that my path will make me be better in every way, and that if I take it one present moment at a time and live life from a loving space, I will be okay and I will like where I end up.
