LOL! I just tried Thai Peanut flavored “meatless” jerky made from seitan. Interesting stuff, and in the weird scheme of things, “not bad.” The cashier was like, “you know you bought one meat and one fake meat jerky, right?”
“Yeah, I know.” He wanted to make sure I knew. I was at a natural foods store. The other one I got is a Tanka Bar made of Buffalo meat with cranberries and pepper blend. I am
collecting snacks for my upcoming treat. Lots of layovers. He said the Tanka Bar is pretty good, but not cost effective for what you pay for. I have not yet tried it.
I have had buffalo meat long time ago. I remember it having a very nice taste. Look forward to your review of the Tanka Bar. As I recall an Native American word for buffalo is ‘tatanka’ (I hope I am remembering correctly!)
Always you find for us the most interesting things! Thank you once again!

I will let you know. I suspect it will be good. 😁 Maybe that’s why they called it “Tanka.”
