Day 1: Strength Through Devotion
Thought for the day: Today I begin my journey beyond the mind

Today’s message from Osho was about mindfulness and awareness. That in everything, even in meditation, we need to find a way to be alert in our awareness, so that we can fully enjoy the gifts in our life and the world arounds us.
One of the examples he used was about eating. Do you eat mechanically (you rush, hardly taste your food, and feel less satisfied thereby eat more) or do you eat mindfully (you take your time to chew, enjoy the taste and texture of each bite, and savor what you are eating)?
Becoming more aware of each moment and what we do in it will allow us to find gratefulness in all things life has to offer, and give us more satisfaction. It will allow us to actually experience and live life, not just go through it like a zombie.
