Our disembarkation in Victoria, Canada (our last port) was delayed and we only had a few hours on port. We had an excursion and our first stop led us to an olive oil tasting store. They also had a vast amount of different balsamic (dark and white) available to taste and purchase. That night someone made olive oil ice cream using liquid nitrogen which was placed on top of a flat cookie and then topped with orange flavored balsamic vinegar. I was grateful for this really interesting and unique tasting experience.
Note: For 5/16/14. I had very limited phone coverage (network-wise and time-wise) and had wi-fi issues on the boat.
It is amazing how creative someone can be with the olive!

Yeah! It was incredible the size of the place. I have watched the olive oil ice cream via liquid nitrogen before on TV but to actually taste it was cool. It was okay. I thought it would be like “WOW,” but it was just a “wow.” LOL 😁
