I am grateful for many things today, but I would like to share a few things in my blog.

My Uncle had 10 cardiac arrests in a span of about 8 hours last night and early this morning. After being removed from the dialysis machine this morning and his medicine changed, he is looking better.

When Auntie J sang their song, Uncle shed some tears. That was very touching. What an example of transcendence!

I was invited by my friend, R, to a crab feed to benefit a high school. It was a sold out event with lots of raffle items, silent auctions, dancing, ribeye, and dungeness crab.

Our table was the most fun of all, and there was laughter all around. I was thankful for this bit of reprieve from worrying and many sleepless nights. It was a form of comfort to me.

I realized that I have been trying to be there for everyone, and when I found myself unneeded, I felt a little lost. Then I felt in need of comfort, but I didn’t know where to find it, because I realized I didn’t know how to ask for it. It’s a wonder to me, but I am happy to have found some comfort tonight.
